ELECTION APPEALS MASTER
IN RE:
JOSEPH WRIGHT, Protestor.
06 Elec. App. 070 (KC)

This matter is an appeal from the Election Supervisor's decision 2006 ESD 349 issued September 15, 2006.

A hearing was held before me on October 3, 2006. The following persons were heard by way of teleconference: Jeffrey J. Ellison, Esq. on behalf of the Election Supervisor, Bradley T. Raymond, Esq. on behalf of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, David J. Hoffa, Esq., and Christy Bailey on behalf of Hoffa 2006.

The protester did not appear, although timely notified, of the Hearing.

His claim, that the convention coverage in the September issue of Teamster magazine was not fair and balanced and was, as a consequence, an improper campaign contribution in support of the Hoffa campaign, is not supported by a full and careful review of the magazine's content.

Accordingly, the decision of the Election Supervisor is in all respects affirmed.

SO ORDERED:
