Re: Election Office Case No. E-039-LU89-EOH
Dear Mr. Blair:
In response to a request for pre-nomination elegibility verification on December 29, 1995, the Election Officer found Anthony Blair to be ineligible to nominate a delegate or alternate delegate to the International convention. Mr. Blair protested this determination in a letter received by the Election Officer on January 16, 1996.
In investigating a related eligibility protest, the Election Officer determined that Mr. Blair is eligible to nominate and to be a delegate or alternate delegate candidate. Winstead, E-021-LU89-EOH (January 25, 1996). As a result, the subject of the current protest is moot. Accordingly, this protest is DENIED.
Any interested party not satisfied with this determination may request a hearing before the Election Appeals Master within one day of receipt of this letter. The parties are reminded that, absent extraordinary circumstances, no party may rely upon evidence that was not presented to the Office of the Election Officer in any such appeal. Requests for a hearing shall be made in writing and shall be served on:
