Re: Election Office Case No. PR-405-LU705-NCE
Gentlemen:
Dane Passo, a member of Local Union 705, filed a protest alleging that a man named Alex was selling tee-shirts for Tom Leedham at the Local 705 membership meeting, without obtaining any information about the persons purchasing the shirts and that he sold a tee shirt to at least one person who was not an IBT member.
The protester now advises the Election Officer that he wishes to withdraw the protest. The Election Officer finds that the withdrawal effectuates the purpose of the Rules and permits the protest to be WITHDRAWN.
